Included with Artworks Basic The Gagnon Color Wheel (Gonyeau) has 32 complement hues, grouped into eight (8) hue families, and arranged opposite each other in the traditional form of a circle. Quality Printing: Gray balanced using the Gagnon method and precisely* measured with spectrophotometer, this color wheel is reliably printed with "light fast" archival inks on acid free paper and laminated for protection from environmental influences. Dimensions: 11.5 cms x 16 cms or 4.5 " x 6.25 " Other Notes: The Gagnon Color Wheel is a gray balanced for both "real time" (digital) and "real world" (pigment) media. It works hand-in-hand with the "real time" color study tools in Artworks Basic. The software comes with a Color Tutorial that explains how to use this chart. |

Included with Artworks Basic The Gagnon Value Scale has 16 half-tone gray levels arranged in steps from dark to light. The highest value on this printed scale is "8+" which is approximately 86% using CIE L*a*b* (D65) and it represents a lightness range of 85% to 90% light. This is more than sufficient to measure the lightest values when painting. Dimensions: 4 cms x 17 cms or 1.5" x 6.625" |

| * precisely measured with spectrophotometer and reliably printed to within 1% of the Gagnon color specification for the more than 4000 printed colors (4K). This is more than close enough for the uses described above (e.g. planning color arrangements for painting). Please note that the images above are screen shots of the actual printed color chart so colors will vary. Also, the Gagnon Colors and the G-Lab 2.0 Colors are the same. The "Gagnon" name has replaced the former "G-Lab 2.0" as of July 2009. |
